What is Civify and how does it work?
Civify is a communication platform designed for municipalities to keep residents informed about projects, disruptions, and updates via mobile app, email, text, and automated calls.
How is Civify different from our city website or social media?
Unlike static websites or social feeds, Civify pushes real-time, geo-targeted notifications directly to residents in the areas affected. It reduces the need for manual updates and increases visibility and engagement.
How are residents notified through Civify?
Residents can receive alerts via push notification, SMS, email, or automated voice calls. They can also view live project cards and updates through the mobile app or web portal.
What type of subscription term is required?
We sell on a standard 1-year term. Longer terms with price breaks are available upon request.
Do residents have to pay anything to access the system?
No, our system is always free for residents and every package includes an unlimited number of resident accounts! Or businesses!
What is a team member?
Team members are what we refer to the user type who will access the Municipal portal. These are going to be city employees, member of the project team, contractor, consultants, inspectors, etc.. Anyone who might want to contribute content, manage projects, or send notifications.
Can I give access to contractors and consultants?
Yes! These individuals would use a “Team Member” account. On our unlimited plans, we include an unlimited number of accounts. Our platform features custom user permissions so that those people can only do the things you want them to be able to.
