Text to Enroll
Civify offers the ability for Municipalities to turn on our Text to Enroll feature. This allows residents to text the word “ENROLL” to their outbound phone number and the system will send them a series of questions to create their account.
When a resident texts a project’s keyword — like PAVING — what happens next depends on whether that phone number already has a resident account. Tap New Resident, Existing Resident, or Declines / Ignores below to see how each one plays out. Every project and post can have its own keyword. Residents can text it any time to get a direct link and, if they don’t have an account yet, the option to sign up for alerts on the spot.
